In consideration for the above name participated in Branded for Christ events for the year of 2007 and beyond, and other good valuable consideration, the receipt of which hereby acknowledged, the undersigned agree(s) as follows:

1.        Pursuant to Substitute House bill #2222 Chapter 290 in 1994 Session Laws through 60-400, there is no liability for an injury to or the death of a participant in domestic animal activities resulting from the inherent risks of domestic animal activities, pursuant to sections 1 through 4.  You are assuming the risk of participating in this domestic animal activity.  Inherent risks of domestic activities include, but shall not be linked to:

(1.)    The property of a domestic animal to behave in ways i.e., running, bucking, kicking, shying, stumbling, rearing, falling or stepping on, that may result in injury, harm, or death to persons on or around them:

(2.)    The unpredictability of a domestic animal’s reaction to such things as sounds, sudden movement, and unfamiliar objects, persons, or other animals:

(3.)    Certain hazards such as surface and subsurface conditions

(4.)    Collisions with other domestic animals or objects; and

(5.)    The potential of a participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to injury to the participant or others, such as failing to maintain control over the domestic animal or not acting within such participant’s ability.

1.        Acknowledgment of Risk:  the undersigned acknowledge(s) that rodeo is a dangerous activity and that participation in rodeo training activities and other rodeo related activities exposes the participant to a substantial and serious risk of property damage, personal injury and even death.  Notwithstanding the risk involved, the undersigned expressly consents to the participant assuming such risk.

2.        Release of Sponsors and Others:  The undersigned, being fully aware that participating in Branded for Christ Rodeo/practice/events, and the activities related hereto, will expose participant to substantial and even serious risk or property damage, personal injury or death hereby releases and forever discharges the Branded for Christ Ministries, Edward and Tammy Miller, and anyone acting on their behalf, form any and all damages, costs, losses, claims, actions or causes of action of every kind and nature, whether past, present or future, arising out of or in any way connected with the participant’s participation in or attendance at Branded for Christ Rodeo/practice/events.

3.        Covenant Not to Sue:  The undersigned covenant(s) that the undersigned will not, now or at any time in the future, directly or indirectly, commence or prosecute an acting, lawsuit or other proceeding against Branded for Christ Ministries/ Edward and Tammy Miller, their respective officers, directors, agents, employees, successors and assigns, or anyone acting on their behalf, for damages, cost, losses, or claims or whatever kind and nature that arise out of or that are in any way connected with the participant’s participation in or attendance at the Branded for Christ Rodeo/Concert, any such damages, costs, losses or claims being hereby expressly waived, released, discharged and satisfied.

4.        Assurances:  The undersigned has (have) full power, authority, capacity and right without limitation to execute, deliver and perform the agreements and covenants contained in this release and agree(s) to agents, employees, successors and assigns against any claims to contrary.

5.        Binding Effects:  The agreements and covenants in this release shall be binding upon the undersigned, his/her heirs, personal representatives, insurers, successors and assigns.
